OpenAI launches affordable ‘ChatGPT Go’ plan in Pakistan and 15 other Asian countries

The new ChatGPT Go plan, priced at around Rs. 1,400 per month, gives users in Pakistan access to GPT-5 and advanced AI tools at a fraction of the cost of premium subscriptions.

AI is common and easily accessible for the consumers: Now OpenAI has launched a plan to expand its ChatGPT Go subscription plan to 16 more Asian countries, in which Pakistan is included, offering users a more affordable way to access GPT-5 and other paid privileges.

Nick Torley, ChatGPT chief, announced the update on social media platform X, saying the rollout followed repeated requests from users for a more affordable plan.

Along with Pakistan, the affordable ChatGPT Go plan, which costs almost under $5, is across the new Asian countries. The pricing plan is now available in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, East Timor, and Vietnam.

OpenAI, ChatGPT decided to more accessible to make its latest model, GPT-5, to mass audience. In addition to increased image generation, file uploads, and sophisticated data analysis capabilities, this plan offers larger usage restrictions and all the features of the free version.

The monthly price of ChatGPT Go in Pakistan is Rs. 1,400. For instance, ChatGPT Pro costs Rs. 49,900, ChatGPT Plus costs Rs. 5,700, and the Business Plan is Rs. 8,499 each month.
